Ok, this is the really important bit, aside from the bravado and silliness that you may see elsewhere on the blog, here we get all serious.
As you are now probably aware we’re going on our little expedition to raise money for a very important local hospital, which provides care and help to children and their families during, what must be, some of the most difficult times of their lives. Sponsoring us will contribute to making these people’s lives better, whether it be through new medical equipment, accommodation for parents or toys for children.
Sponsoring us is easy and can be done a number of different ways:
Just Giving – Is a website set up that enables people like you to donate money to charity when people like us do silly things like ride bikes to Paris. The website is secure and donates the money directly to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Click on the link below to go to our Just Giving site.
N.B If you a UK taxpayer you can also apply ‘Gift Aid‘ to your donation, which results in the Tax man giving the Birmingham Children’s Hospital the money he took off you in income tax when you earned the money you donated!
Pledge Form – For those of you who don’t wish to donate online, you can complete one of our pledge forms and either email or post it via snail mail to us. We will then contact you once we have completed the trip to collect money you have pledged. You can download the pledge form by clicking on the link below.
